Reginald Muzariri passed his Chartered Accountants board examination in 1993 and completed articles with Ernst & Young, and thereafter Coopers & Lybrand. He served as a director in the Corporate Finance division at Coopers and Lybrand.
Prior to the establishment of Utho in 1999, of which he is a founding director, he worked for Theta Securities, New Africa Investments Ltd, as well as Absa Corporate and Merchant Bank Ltd. He is a co-founder of the Utho Group of companies and as part of Utho’s investment strategy in association with Square One Group. He is currently serving as Managing Director of Square One Capital (Pty) Ltd and Square One Telecoms (Pty) Ltd, Executive Vice-Chairman of Square One Solutions Group Ltd, and is a member of the executive committee of the Square One Solutions Group. Reginald also serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Alexkor Limited, a position he has held since September 2008.
He was appointed to Right to Care’s board in October 2008.
