Imogen Jaffray is the Down Referral Programme Manager at Right to Care. She is a qualified nursing sister with extensive experience in clinical trials.
Imogen joined the Clinical HIV Research Unit (CHRU) in 2001 as a Study Co-ordinator, working on both pharmaceutical and investigator driven infectious disease and HIV clinical trial studies. She joined Right to Care in July 2007 as a Programme Co-ordinator for the down referral programme.
Imogen has been extensively involved in the development and implementation of the down-referral processes, the development of a data management system specifically for down-referral, and training of Primary Health Care Nurses (PHCNs) in HIV management.
In September 2008, Imogen became the Down Referral Programme Manager at Right to Care. This role gave her responsibility for overseeing the implementation of down-referral at partner sites as well as working with the Gauteng Department of Health in rolling out down referral across the province.
