Kurt Firnhaber is a Director of Right to Care and is the organisation’s Chief Operations Officer. Kurt joined Right to Care at the beginning of 2006 and implemented the expansion of grant funding from USAID, as the Deputy Programme Director of this grant. His management of the Human Resources, Finance, and Operations departments, and of infrastructure development has supported the growth and rapid expansion of treatment sites throughout the country.

Kurt has established Umbrella Grants Management systems and personnel to oversee a growing number of NGOs that provide HIV treatment, care, and support. In the year under review, Kurt has been instrumental in the integration of strategic plans and budgeting within the various departments and initiatives of Right to Care. His emphasis on innovation in all areas of the business has led to the success of integrated solutions and results-driven programmes.

Kurt has a Masters degree in Non-Profit Management from Regis University.
