Dr Ebby Mkhabela was appointed in August 2008 as the Provincial Programme Manager for Right to Care in the Mpumalanga in August 2008.
His key role job is to provide leadership and guidance to the provincial Right to Care team and support the Department of Health’s CCMT, TB, and PMTCT programmes. He is also tasked with ensuring Right to Care meets the expectations of the partnership with the Department of Health.
Ebby graduated with an MBChB from Medunsa in 2001. He has also completed an Advance Management Programme Course at the University of Pretoria and SA Managers Development Institute, and is currently studying for an advanced project management course thorough Damelin College of SA.
His experience includes Deputy Medical Manager (Tonga Hospital); Acting CEO and Senior Medical Manager (Shongwe Hospital); Senior Medical Manager (Barbeton Hospital); and Executive member of the Mpumalanga Medical managers forum.
The skill and experience in management of government institutions and the relationship build through his work with the Department of Health makes him a valuable addition to the Right to Care team.
