eLABS

improving viral load testing

Right to Care’s innovative eLABS system is a managed service that aligns:

  • testing and patients,
  • healthcare facilities,
  • testing laboratories,
  • processes and
  • technology to improve laboratory value chain performance on a large scale.

It was first launched by Right to Care International in Zambia.

eLABS digitises the laboratory value chain to track:

sample collection

transportation

analysis

results input

It then returns the electronic results to healthcare providers and patients in real-time.

This system is creating more efficient laboratory analysis processes which flag bottlenecks and inefficiencies that require action. It benefits healthcare workers and patients.

eLABS has been developed in partnership with South Africa’s :National Health Laboratory Service and health products company: Mezanine

eLABS is currently being used by: PEPFARUSAIDCDC programmes at over 1,000 facilities

Treating health seriously, caring, making treatment available in South Africa and abroad.
