Right Clinic was set up by Right to Care in 2018 to:

  • re-engineer primary healthcare in South Africa and

  • drive down the costs of private healthcare.

Its goal is to support patients and regional departments of health in South Africa by:

Filling the gap for patients who are not covered by medical aid but are able to pay towards healthcare services

Building primary healthcare clinics (PHCs) in communities where healthcare facilities are lacking.

Esizayo Clinic in Cosmo City

Right Clinic’s first clinic was set up in Cosmo City in Johannesburg for people who can afford to pay a reasonably priced fee for quality healthcare without queuing.

Patients pay R400 which includes:

  • an acute or chronic consultation with a doctor or nurse,
  • screening,
  • testing and
  • medication

The clinic offers:

  • acute care,
  • chronic care,
  • treatment of minor ailments,
  • mother and child healthcare and
  • screening for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, TB, HIV, STIs and cervical and prostate cancer.
  • Free VMMC
  • Free HIV Services

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8am – 4pm
Tuesday: 7am-5:30pm
Closed Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

The clinic has paperless patient records, a data gathering system, wheelchair access, 24-hour security and the latest healthcare technologies.
